JCB India opens dealership facility in Mohali

JCB India Ltd along with its dealer Krishna Automobiles inaugurated a new dealer facility in Mohali. Spread over 24,560 sq ft, this is the largest construction equipment facility by Krishna Automobiles and will also be their new Head Office.

Tractor market to grow by 12 per cent

Mahindra & Mahindra expects the tractor segment in the country to grow by around 12 per cent this fiscal. The company aims to grow more than the industry in 2013-14. According to Sanjeev Goyle, Chief of Marketing, M&M FES, timely monsoon this year has helped in creating a positive atmosphere in the tractor market helping the industry grow.

New buses to ply on Tricity roads

The Union Territory administration on May 23 decided to to focus on better transport for Tricity-Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali by replacing old buses with new ones and upgrading primary education with future population growth in mind. The progress of various projects was assessed at a meeting convened by UT administrator Shivraj Patil to discuss the schemes undertaken by the administration during the current financial year.

Collaborative Model

VECV enhances the unique model of industry?academia collaborations. VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture (JV) between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with two educational institutes, the SRM University, Chennai and the Ramakrishna Mission Vidhyalaya, Coimbatore as part of its unique industry-academia collaborative model. VECV has already established four centres with state-of-the-art automobile labs at prominent institutes of the country.
